What is Global Squawk?
What is Global Squawk?
Global Squawk is an English market-news, early-alert and analysis terminal being prepared for traders and investors. It brings developments affecting Türkiye, G7 markets, gold, silver and oil into one workspace. Its planned coverage includes public news, economic releases, politics, geopolitics, central banks, rates, investigations and attributed social updates. Markets are connected, so briefings consider possible links across currencies, equities and commodities. Social early alerts distinguish the original source, attribution and verification status. Morning and closing briefings, calendar alerts and selected pre-event analysis help structure reading. It does not provide investment advice or trading signals. This website currently offers dated illustrative cards and locally generated English audio; live account access is coming soon.
Who is Global Squawk for?
It is designed for intraday traders, position traders and medium- or long-term investors, both professional and individual. It is for people who want to read prices alongside the developments that may affect them: disclosures, central banks, economic data, political decisions, conflicts and attributed social reports. Source labels and timestamps help distinguish different types of information. The public demo illustrates the format without requiring an account.
Is Global Squawk a news website or a terminal?
The planned product is a market-news terminal and analysis service. Separate source channels organise news, official releases, disclosures, social updates, calendar events, price moves and analysis. Suitable items can be read in English, while briefings explore possible market implications. The current public website introduces that product with dated examples.
Does Global Squawk also provide analysis?
The planned feed attributes news, data and statements to their sources. Briefings and critical-event analysis bring them together: what happened, which markets may be affected, what was expected and what to read next. Analysis is informational, not investment advice. The demo uses illustrative examples.
Do you examine links between global developments and local markets?
Yes. The intended briefings consider how oil, gold, overseas interest rates, conflicts or sanctions may affect currencies, equities, energy and risk appetite in local markets. These are possible transmission channels, not certain outcomes or directional forecasts.
Can I use Global Squawk alongside my trading platform?
The planned terminal is an information workspace, not an order platform. It can be viewed in another tab or screen alongside your broker or bank platform. Audio is intended to let you remain focused on your own charts. Account access is coming soon.
Can I use it on mobile? Is there an app?
The website and dated demo work in a phone or tablet browser. No separate mobile app or installation is provided. Background audio depends on the browser and device and is not promised.
Social-source early alerts
What is a social-source early alert?
Some developments first appear in public social posts: political statements, reports of incidents or central bank remarks. The planned service identifies potentially relevant updates from selected sources and labels who made the statement, who relayed it and whether it has been independently verified. An early alert is not automatically confirmed news. Dated examples on this website illustrate the distinction.
What does an early alert offer?
It can bring an unscheduled development to your attention before independent confirmation, with its uncertainty clearly labelled. Examples include supply reports, conflicts and political statements. Audio may help you notice an item while looking elsewhere. An early alert is not a trading signal; you decide how much weight to give it.
Is an early alert confirmed news?
Not necessarily. Source, attribution and verification are shown separately so an unverified statement is not presented as confirmed fact.
Are rumours and unverified reports included?
The intended feed may include relevant claims or single-source reports with explicit attribution and verification labels. A rumour must remain labelled as a rumour, rather than carrying the same confidence as confirmed news. The demo contains only dated illustrative examples.
News, disclosures and sources
Which sources does Global Squawk use?
The planned coverage draws on public publisher reports, central banks, statistical agencies and regulators, company disclosures, selected social accounts, economic calendars and price feeds. Examples of official institutions include the Fed, ECB, Bank of England, Bank of Japan, CBRT and TurkStat. Each card identifies its source category and time; official statements and social posts are deliberately kept distinct.
Can I follow Turkish company disclosures?
The planned TR and Global coverage includes Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) announcements, prioritising BIST 100 companies. Categories include contracts, capital changes, share repurchases, dividends, results and other material disclosures. Suitable items may include English summaries and audio. The demo illustrates the format; live access is coming soon.
Will I see the same story repeatedly?
Publisher reports are intended to be filtered and grouped by topic so multiple headlines about one decision do not become separate developments. The aim is to highlight the topic and genuinely new details, without promising perfect duplicate detection.
Does the system explain why a market moved?
It looks for attributed developments consistent with a notable move. Where a relevant association exists, it can present them together; otherwise it must not invent a cause. This is a research starting point, not proof of causation.
What does “No verified cause identified” mean?
Available sources did not establish a reliable explanation consistent with that move. There is not always one clear answer to why equities fell or gold rose; the absence of a verified explanation is stated explicitly.
Do you follow politics, conflicts and investigations?
The planned coverage includes relevant elections, policy decisions, conflicts, sanctions, trade and supply measures, investigations and regulatory actions. Each item retains its source and context; analysis considers possible market implications. This does not guarantee comprehensive coverage.
Economic calendar and central banks
How does the economic calendar work?
The planned calendar shows release time, country, importance and previous, forecast and actual values where available across ten countries or regions. Inflation, growth, employment, rate decisions and speeches are included. This helps readers connect scheduled events with currencies, equities and commodities. The public demo uses clearly dated illustrative events, not a current schedule.
How do calendar alerts work?
Suitable important releases may receive a pre-release audio alert and a post-release announcement of the actual value. They provide event information for your own decisions about timing and risk. They do not calculate position size or remove event risk. The audio here consists of dated local samples.
Why is the economic calendar useful?
Unlike unscheduled headlines, many release times are known in advance even though the result is uncertain. A calendar helps distinguish ordinary volatility from events that may change the economic outlook. Selected pre-event analysis adds expectations and conditional scenarios. The service does not calculate your portfolio risk.
Which countries’ economic data are covered?
The planned calendar covers ten countries or regions, including Türkiye, the United States and major European economies. See the economic calendar page for the full list.
Can I follow central bank rate decisions live?
Live account access is coming soon. The intended coverage includes decisions and speeches from the CBRT, Fed, ECB, Bank of England, Bank of Japan and other G7 central banks, with attribution and suitable English summaries. Selected major decisions receive pre-event analysis. The current demo is a dated illustration, not a live service.
Can I find the original official statement?
Official releases retain source attribution so readers can compare an interpretation with the original wording. The dated demo’s illustrative cards are labelled as examples rather than represented as real source releases.
Pre-event analysis
What is pre-event analysis?
For selected releases, such as rate decisions, inflation or employment, it provides a framework covering expectations, prior values, possible pricing-in, components, conditional scenarios and what to read immediately afterward. Text and audio depend on the event and available sources; not every topic will be populated in every report.
Does analysis tell me to buy if data is strong?
No. It uses conditional scenarios about what to examine under different results, rather than a one-way prediction or trade instruction. The decision remains yours.
Do you offer individual stock analysis or recommendations?
No individual stock recommendations are offered. Planned company coverage relays disclosures, with broader index and sector analysis. It is not personalised investment research.
Audio squawk (English market news)
How does audio work?
The planned squawk reads suitable developments in short, attributed English announcements: social early alerts, news, official releases, disclosures, calendar events, notable price moves and selected analysis. It is intended to help you notice developments while focusing on charts, documents or other work. Separate visual and audio preferences determine what you hear. This website offers ten locally generated, dated English samples; live account access is coming soon.
Is every item read aloud?
No. The aim is to highlight developments with potentially greater market relevance, not read every headline.
Can I choose what I see and hear?
The planned terminal provides separate SEE / HEAR preferences, allowing a broader visual agenda with more selective audio. Those account preferences are outside the public preview; sample playback here is manual.
Can I replay an announcement?
You can replay all dated samples on this website. The planned terminal also includes recent audio history; account access is coming soon.
Is Global Squawk the fastest news source?
No speed-superiority claim is made. Audio is intended to help you notice a development while your attention is elsewhere.
Briefings, archive and search
What are morning and closing briefings?
The planned morning briefing brings together scheduled releases, company developments and the global political and market context. The closing briefing reviews significant developments and market moves. They provide structured reading points for people who cannot follow the feed all day. The examples here are illustrative and dated, not actual daily reports or a promise of current delivery.
Can I search previous news and briefings?
The planned terminal supports searching across content categories with time filters and revisiting briefings through the archive, with suitable PDF and sharing options. These account features are coming soon. The public demo displays a fixed set of dated examples.
Markets and coverage
Which markets are covered?
The intended product follows four connected areas because developments in one may affect others.
- Türkiye: BIST 100, BIST 30 and ten sector indices; selected currencies including USD/TRY; CBRT decisions, TurkStat releases and company disclosures.
- G7 and global markets: Nine global equity indices, including S&P 500, DAX, FTSE 100 and Nikkei 225; major central banks; and rates and bond commentary.
- Currencies: Six currency pairs.
- Commodities and crypto: Gold, silver, Brent crude oil and Bitcoin.
The planned coverage also includes economic calendars across ten countries or regions and relevant political and geopolitical developments. The aim is to examine potential connections across prices and events, not simply display quotes. The public preview illustrates this with dated examples.
Are all markets covered?
No. The scope is selected Turkish and global markets and economic calendars. Planned coverage follows 31 feeds, with 18 displayed on screen; it does not represent every instrument or source.
Can I follow gold, silver and oil news?
The intended Commodities and Global coverage includes relevant geopolitical news, price moves, briefings and analysis for gold, silver and Brent, considering possible links to currencies, inflation expectations and local markets. Access is coming soon.
Do you cover bonds and rates?
The planned TR, G7 and Global coverage includes macro commentary on rates and bonds and possible effects on currencies, equities and commodities. It is not a quote screen or recommendation for individual bonds.
Can data be delayed?
Yes. Sources, connections or technical issues may cause delays or interruptions. The service is an information tool; check executable prices with your trading platform. This public demo deliberately uses dated examples.
Plans and availability
Which plans are planned?
The intended coverage groups are TR (Turkish markets), G7 (major developed markets), Commodities (gold, silver and oil), and Global (the combined view). Briefings, audio, calendar alerts, selected analysis and source-based updates are shown in the coverage table. All Global Squawk subscriptions are coming soon; no plan can be purchased here.
How much does membership cost?
Coming soon. No Global Squawk price, discount or trial period is offered at this stage. You can explore the dated demo without registering or paying.
Is annual payment available?
Payment options are coming soon. This website accepts no monthly or annual payment.
How does the demo differ from membership?
The demo contains fixed English example cards and locally generated sample audio dated 23 October 2026. It is neither live nor a delayed real feed. No registration is required. Account access and subscriptions are coming soon.
Can I start using an account immediately?
Account access is coming soon. Login and signup pages explain this and collect no account details. The dated demo is available without registration.
Can plan contents change?
They may change before launch. Applicable scope and terms will be presented before any future purchase.
How can I give feedback?
Contact details are listed on the contact page. The preview’s feedback form does not submit or store information. The planned Global Squawk contact email is info@globalsquawk.com.
